“Data! Data! Data! I cannot make bricks without clay.”
Step out of the damp London night and into the cluttered, brilliant sanctuary of the world’s most famous consulting detective. 221B (or Elementary) is an atmospheric immersion into the mind of Sherlock Holmes. It balances the “inside” comforts of a roaring hearth with the “outside” grit of a city shrouded in mystery.
The Scent Sommelier Notes:
-
The Top Notes: Bergamot and Ozone, mimicking the crisp, startling clarity of a new clue and the dampness of a wool greatcoat.
-
The Heart: Black Tea and Dried Herbs, representing the quiet hours spent over a chemistry set or a violin.
-
The Base: Pipe Tobacco, Beeswax, and Aged Paper, providing a heavy, scholarly finish that lingers like a solved riddle.
Light this when you are deep in a thriller or settling in for a long night of writing. Remember: once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains—however improbable—must be the truth.
candle care:
Trim the carbon build up off your wicks before each new burn as needed. Trimming the wicks may not be needed until the third burn as every candle burns slightly different. If at any point you notice high flames or soot/smoke emitting from your candle, blow it out, trim the wicks and re-light.
Allow the candle to burn for a full 4 hours during the first burn. The melt pool of the candle may not reach all edges of the jar until the second or third burn.
Don’t leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep away from children, pets, drafts, flammable objects and surfaces.
