Every sanctuary needs a soul, and the chateau is ours. This isn’t the sugary vanilla of a common kitchen; this is a sophisticated, “grown-up” vanilla that feels like a heavy cream-colored blanket. It was created to mimic the specific warmth of a sunlit library—where the sweetness of a flickering candle meets the faint, nostalgic scent of old paper.

candle care:
Trim the carbon build up off your wicks before each new burn as needed. Trimming the wicks may not be needed until the third burn as every candle burns slightly different. If at any point you notice high flames or soot/smoke emitting from your candle, blow it out, trim the wicks and re-light.
Allow the candle to burn for a full 4 hours during the first burn. The melt pool of the candle may not reach all edges of the jar until the second or third burn.
Don’t leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep away from children, pets, drafts, flammable objects and surfaces.
