Return & Refund Policy

At The Misty Chateau, we want you to be completely enamored with your new fragrance. If a scent doesn’t resonate with your sanctuary, we are here to help.
1. THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY GUARANTEE)
In accordance with European Union and UK consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of receiving your items.
- Condition: To be eligible for a return, your items must be in new, unused, and unlit condition, with all original packaging intact. Due to the artisanal nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for candles that have been lit or room sprays that have been used.
2. THE RETURN PROCESS
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Request an Authorization: Email our Scent Sommelier team at themistychateau@icloud.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Package Securely: Place the item safely in its original packaging to prevent breakage during transit.

3. RETURN SHIPPING FEES
Please note that you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot issue a refund for items that are lost or damaged during their return journey to the Chateau.
4. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 7 days of arrival), we will notify you via email regarding the approval of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: Will be credited back to your original payment method (PayPal or WooCommerce).
- Processing Time: Please allow up to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
5. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your “Misty” treasure arrives shattered or if we sent the wrong scent by mistake, please contact us at themistychateau@icloud.com within 48 hours of delivery. Provide a photo of the damage, and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
