At The Misty Chateau, we strive to bring our sensory sanctuaries to your doorstep as swiftly as possible. Each order is hand-packed with care in our French atelier before beginning its journey across the Atlantic.
1. PROCESSING TIMES
We aim to have your treasures prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days.
- Note on Seasonality: Please be aware that during peak holiday seasons and the month of May in France (due to several national public holidays), processing times may slightly extend. We appreciate your patience as our local logistics partners observe these traditional breaks.
2. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (FRANCE TO NORTH AMERICA)
We are delighted to offer shipping to our patrons in the United States and Canada.
- Estimated Shipping Time: Typically 5–10 business days after the initial 48-hour processing window.
- The Journey: While we do our utmost to meet these estimates, they are provided by the postal carriers and are not a guarantee. Actual delivery times depend on the efficiency of the postal services and customs processing.
3. THE HAND-OFF & TRACKING
Once your package is scanned by La Poste (or our designated international carrier), the trajectory of the delivery is managed by the postal service.
- Carrier Responsibility: The Misty Chateau is not liable for delays, re-routes, or failed delivery attempts once the package has left our atelier.
- Our Commitment: We want to ensure your sanctuary arrives safely. If you have concerns about your package’s status after it has been dispatched, please reach out to us at themistychateau@icloud.com and we will assist you in investigating the shipment.
4. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES
For our international collectors, please be advised:
- Fees: Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes that may be applied by your country upon arrival.
- Delays: The Misty Chateau is not responsible for delays held at customs borders, as these are outside of our control.
5. PACKAGING & SAFETY
To ensure your candles arrive in pristine condition, we use high-quality protective materials. In the rare event of transit damage, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy regarding damaged goods.
